We strive to get the differential location high enough so the diff is not dragging on the ground even through rough bumps using the full compression travel. This chassis is by far the most challenging as the stock diff was already too low from the factory making it exceptionally challenging when trying to put a large Winters Quick Change in it.
We have to cut a large C-notch to get the axles to clear, cut most of the center sheet metal to get clearance for the CV boots, create an under brace to keep the lower control arms from flexing due to lack of support structure.
We have tried several designs to reduce the cost but the amount of fabrication work required is considerably more than any other subframe we offer.
Additional modifications to the rear upper control will need to be done to clear the axles in the new raised location.
